About UsThe ArabianRacing.org Classifieds is a project of the Arabian Jockey Club to encourage and facilitate sales and purchases within the industry, and to serve as a fundraiser to provide for expanded promotion of Arabian Racing. The Arabian Jockey Club is a nationally chartered non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and education of the Arabian racing industry in the United States. Arabian racing was organized in the U.S.A. in the late 1950's and has grown to a substantial force enjoying popularity among participants and racing fans.
The AJC was officially chartered as a non-profit organization in December 1987 to represent Arabian racing in the U.S.A. In 1995, the AJC was reorganized and chartered as a Colorado corporation and is now under the auspices of the Purebred Arabian Trust. The AJC also has the support and works closely with The Arabian Racing Cup, the Thoroughbred Racing Protective Bureau , the Racing Commissioners International and the Racing Medication and Testing Consortium. Since 1996, the AJC is represented on the Board of Stewards of the Arabian Racing Cup. AJC also works in collaborate effort with various state Affiliates, who organize and represent racing in the individual U.S.A. state racing venues, and is a founding member of the International Federation of Arabian Horse Racing Authorities (IFAHR).
