Gazwan Takes the HH Emir's Sword – Again.

"The year 2016 was revisited as Gazwan wrested HH the Emir's Sword, the third leg of the Doha Triple Crown, while The Blue Eye clinched HH the Emir's Trophy in a thrilling finale to the HH The Emir's Sword Festival on Saturday.
The Emir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani presided over the closing ceremony and presented the trophies to winners.
At the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club Racecourse, as the skies went overcast and a slight cold breeze swept the New Al Rayyan facility, with just 300m to go in the $1-million race for the Purebred Arabians (Group 1), sponsored by Total, Gazwan leapt to the front from the third spot."
