Join us For the Love of Racing Arabians! Due to the continued worries of COVID, and the logistics of transporting horses from track to track, California and Colorado have decided it is in the best interest of all concerned to take the California Wathba Cup races to the Arapaho Racetrack in Aurora, Colorado, for 2022.
Arapahoe Racetrack Dates for California Wathba Stallions Cup at Colorado:
- Sunday, 31 July
- Sunday, 21 August
- Sunday, 11 September
For 3-year-olds and upward that are Maidens as of 1 June 2022. No late nominations or supplements will be accepted. Preference to highest money earners after 15 June 2022, when the horses will be named.
First Installment – Fee of $100 on or before 15 June 2022, *horse does not have to be named.
Second Installment – Fee of $150 to be paid on or before 1 July 2022, *horse does not have to be named.
Third and Final Installment – $200 to be paid on or before 15 July 2022, *horse must be named at this time.

ARAC will not host races in 2022 at the California Fairs. Instead, Arabians will race at Arapahoe Park from Sunday, 3 July, through Tuesday, 4 October 2022.
