Cayucos (Virgule Al Maury x Tikis Wing Beat, by Flaming Streak+/), a 2008 chestnut gelding bred by Darley Stud who began his first career as a successful racehorse at Delaware Park, has just won the world’s most difficult equine endurance ride, the 2018 Tevis Cup. Heather Reynolds of Dunnellon, Florida, and Cayucos won the 63rd edition of the 100-mile Tevis Cup for owner Hillorie Farace Di Villaforesta’s. They crossed the finish line in Auburn, California, at 10:00 PM. This was Heather’s third Tevis Cup win. 

Cayucos raced 22 times on the track between 2011 and 2013 with lifetime earnings $26,057.
